You will be ideally placed for exploring both the north coasts of Devon and Cornwall which have a choice of popular sandy surfing beaches and sheltered coves. Holsworthy is a market town in north west Devon, England, not far from the Cornish border. It has a long history with a mention in the Domesday book, and is located within a few miles of Sutcombe, Tetcott, Bridgerule, Milton Damerel, Bradworthy, and Bude and is one of more then three hundred towns and villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest cities are Plymouth and Exeter).
Holsworthy has one of the largest live stock markets in the South West of England and it holds a popular country show every year. Once served by a railway, evidence of the new closed line still remains with large viaducts either side of the town.
